Saven
is transforming the financial technology landscape by
building a cutting edge set of services, components and
integration libraries that incorporate the tenets of
both service orientation and rich interactivity. The
initiative is christened “Yottatix”, which is
essentially a name derived from two different words,
namely “Yotta” and “Ticks”. “Yotta” depicts largeness of
volume and frequency and “Ticks” symbolizes the market
movement – i.e. up and down ticks.
Yottatix hits two birds with one stone. It makes both
the developers and the users happy! It makes it easy for
a developer to build highly performant and highly
responsive applications, which interestingly require low
maintenance and allows easy customization. It increases
the productivity of the users by giving them the tools
to manage large amounts of information efficiently and
by facilitating effective decision quickly.
The
services, components and integration libraries can be
aggregated in a portal, integrated with legacy
applications, plugged in with third party software or
incorporated into custom applications. There are
multiple programming interfaces (or APIs) in Yottatix.
These include web services, RESTful URLs based HTTP
calls, direct socket based connections, message oriented
integration, service based interaction and remote object
invocation. Integration with industry standard protocols
and popular software applications is provided
out-of-the-box. The primary technologies used in the
stack are Java and Adobe Flex, but there are binding and
interfaces for JavaScript and C#. Further, any JVM
language like JRuby, Groovy, Jython or even PHP can be
easily integrated on the server side.
The
functionality covers all aspects of the banking, money
management, brokerage and financial services business
processes. This means the components and services
include instrument information lookup, trading engines,
portfolio management suites, risk and analytics
platform, settlement services, gateway to market data
and exchanges, money transfer systems, client data
management applications and graphing toolkits. The list
of all the features would run into pages, so are going
to avoid doing that here.
Apart
from your own deployment, you could also rely on the
hosted, i.e. Software as a Service (SAAS),
implementations. A retail consumption implementation is
also going to be available soon. If you have any
questions or are interested in knowing more about
Yottatix, then please contact us. The
implementation is flexible to the extent that it can be
deployed in parts or whole.
Saven
has been working on putting together a suite of
components that will form an essential framework to
develop a Finance Portal. Many of these components, both
UI and Server side, will enable to quickly put together
a Portal.
These
components can be customized to suit any specific needs.
Typical UI components include: Quote Table, Graph, Order
Entry… etc and Server side include: …. Etc. |
